Watch the birdie ....

It has been busy this couple of weeks and had little time with my camera to shoot for myself. After a hectic weekend. I had some time to myself, eventhough confined in my home (I was a little under the weather, the kids are at their grand parents' and my wife working). I was reading a magazine when I heard loud chirping just outside the window. A little peek and I saw this little bird, AND my camera was really close by ... an opportunity not to be wasted
Anyone knows what bird this is? ... my wife told me it's a mynah, but she's not so sure herself .....

When I was in Kuala Kangsar for my cousin's wedding a few weeks ago, I took my kids out around the town by the river bank. There was this old man fishing with a net ... the first time the kids saw this method of fishing. I have my camera with me and caught these images ......

This year, I might celebrate Eid in the hospital. My father just had a minor surgery this morning but might need another 48 hours for recovery and observation.
